Zen is the only line of knowledge on the Unsurpassed Consciousness that has stood the test of time. Zen is the flowering of the Teachings of the Buddha. The way Zen works is that it seeks to break all intellectualism thereby leaving the seeker to perceive truth in its fullness once the mist of false self-knowledge has been cleared. Yet this is the highest goal in life.
One’s innate capacity to become more spiritually insightful about themselves and the world around them is to be best awakened not just by the study of scripture, the doing of good deeds and the worship of lifeless images but rather by the breaking through the boundaries of common logical thought systems.
To arrive at a new understanding, there is need to go deeper with oneself and this brings more balance both innately and externally as well.
