Stranger in the Night – a Sequel

God writes for Eternity, this is not given to men;
But even He cannot rewrite again what He has already embossed in His writing;

Yet the wise walk in the meanderings of his pen.
Since eternity, the adept always follow the tracing of the auspicious ‘letters’ of God,

The outline was not intended for anyone to mar or to amend;

What’s important is to sit in quiescence and wait for the dissolution of our ego identities.
When you wept apart,

In the presence of my friendship, I regarded your tears in deep contemplation,

I thought of you as a bullet-proof vest against all kinds of bullets,

And you are the fortress of my heart.

For your feet,
If I had known of your coming,

I would have been weaving,

My Heart’s blood,

The velvet of my eyes,

A black and white carpet.
For your couch,

If I had known of your coming,

I would have been spreading my cool cheeks,

The young silk of my thighs,

Dear stranger in the night.
