Way to Happiness – Part III

A wise person who rides the private jet of pure diligence,

Towards the Land of Inner-Liberation,

Is ever joyful.

He whose consciousness is weighted with an unfathomable stone

That subtly relegates him to the bottom of ignorance and mind-suffering,

Is ever sad.

He who is vigilant and avoids misunderstandings concerning the highest experience of Nirvana,

Blissfuly amused at the play of his own mind,

Is ever joyful.

He who has sworn to practice wakefulness,

But mindlessly indulges in errant deeds,

Is ever sad.

He who has successfully transcended all fears, mundane hopes and doubts,

Perpetually absorbed in the state of Nirvana,

Is ever joyful.

He who mindlessly submits to the will of others –

Overly submissive, artificial relationships and ingratiating,

Is forever sad.

He who skillfully leaves all “this and that” behind,

Always practicing the pure awareness,

Is ever joyful.
