Way to Happiness – Part I

He who knows his own true nature

And the immanent Truth of all phenomena,

Is ever joyful.

He who acts out of subconscious sleep,

Is ever sad.

He who rests in the state of uninterruptible Awareness,

And is ever spontaneously pure in mind,

Is ever joyful.

He who unknowingly surrenders to mere impulses and surroundings,

Being subject to prejudice, attachments and cravings,

Is ever sad.

He who realizes that all things constitute of the One Consciousness,

Freed from all fears, false-hopes, and doubts,

Such a one is ever joyful.

He who is ever-impatient, prattles-and-babbles, and is overly rash,

Being overpowered by unnecessary worldly desires,

Is ever sad,

For, the mind never knows satiation – it ever wants more.
