Sigmund Freud: The masses have never thirsted for truth

Veritas Odium Parit

[The masses] have never thirsted after truth. They demand illusions, and cannot do without them. They constantly give what is unreal precedence over what is real; they are almost as strongly influenced by what is untrue as by what is true. They have an evident tendency not to distinguish between the two.

  1. Pretty awesome and really interesting.. Edward bernays would have to Top 3 if not number 1 master manipulator and specialised in how to market products to the public.. Because of him people eat bacon at breakfast lol just one of many..
But if any of it interests you I’d highly recommend a series that has 4 episodes called ‘Thr century of self’ can watch it from YouTube! 🙂

  2. Ah we are somewhat chilly. I’ve been reading blogs but not commenting. Not sure why now that i think about it… been busy on some projects. Getting back to this world of blog is so easy to get lost in and all else goes by the way…must find balance..must find balance lol
